Pickup window07:15–08:00Our driver will pick you up at your hotel or villa between 08:00 - 09:00. We'll head to the pier in the north of Koh Samui by air-conditioned van or SUV.
Departure from the pier by luxury speedboat to Angthong Marine Park. The journey takes between 45 minutes - 1 hour.
We are at the national park and head to Koh Wao, one of the best snorkeling spots around. Here you can go snorkeling (equipment included), swimming or relaxing on the boat.
A short climb up gets you to the panoramic viewpoint of Angthong. You will have a 360-degree view on all the 42 islands here. Be sure to bring a camera!
Enjoy a stunning view of the saltwater lake 'Emerald Lagoon'. A great photo opportunity. View the beautiful limestone rocks and the green lake that is connected by caves to the ocean.
The VIP Angthong Marine Park tour continues to Koh Paluay. This is the only inhabited island with a small gypsy fishing village. A delicious Thai lunch is waiting for you here. Enjoy!
Enjoy sea kayaking around the bays of Angthong or relax on the beautiful white sandy beach before we return to Koh Samui.
The VIP speedboat cruises back to Koh Samui. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the late afternoon. You might see some fish or if you are really lucky: dolphins or whales.
We arrive at Samui at around 16:30-16:45, depending on the weather conditions. Our luxury air-conditioned van or SUV is waiting for us at the pier. We bring you back to your hotel or villa, where you should arrive no later than 17:30.

Around eight hours at a noticeably calmer pace. The later start kills the pre-dawn pickup. You'll do the Emerald Lagoon, the Wua Talap viewpoint, swimming, snorkelling and kayaking, with lunch on Koh Paluay. Small group means the gaps between stops are short and there's not much standing around waiting for people. Ten guests is the minimum for the boat to run, so a very quiet date can get moved. Weather still has the final say on the order of stops.

A delicious Thai-style lunch is served on Koh Paluay, a gypsy village. We order the dishes ahead of time, so we don't have to wait to be served. You can expect a mix of popular Thai dishes: chicken soup, Pad Thai, sweet & sour chicken, BBQ chicken, green salad, stir-fried vegetables, fried vegetables, steamed rice & fresh fruits. There are different dishes for your dietary wishes (vegetarian, vegan, halal) available. Soft drinks and water are included in the price during the VIP Angthong Marine Park tour.
The difference between this tour and the regular speedboat tour is both in group size and service. Our VIP tour has a maximum of 16 guests on a 25-seater speedboat and includes a luxury transfer, lunch, soft drinks, entrance fee and many more options. The regular Angthong Marine Park speedboat tour has a capacity of 35 guests and a more limited service. As we operate a small group and speedboat it's easier to visit secluded beaches to give you the feeling you are visiting the park alone.
The best time to visit Angthong Marine Park is after the rainy season in March, April and May when the waters are usually calm. There are sunshades on the deck. The park is closed in rainy season between 1 November to 15 December.
The viewpoint can be accessed by a series of stairs and can be tough for small children, older persons and people with disabilities. Please make sure to wear sensible footwear if you want to make the climb up. If you’re in reasonable condition, it shouldn’t be too hard to get to the top.
Our speedboat doesn’t run between 1 November - 15 December as the park is closed and the waters usually too rough. The tour will run if it’s rainy but and safe to go. If the waves are too high to make the trip, we will offer you a different date or a refund.
No, it is not recommended for pregnant ladies to join this speedboat tour due to safety reasons. Pregnant women will not be allowed to board the speedboat by our on-site staff.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
To keep the ride safe, this tour is not suitable for back problems, heart conditions or pregnant women. If that could apply to anyone in your group, contact us before booking and we will help you find a better fit.

The guide was the standout element for me - really knowledgeable about the park and the sea gypsy community at Koh Paluay. Halal food was available at lunch and the quality was much better than we expected. The emerald lagoon is one of those sights you just have to see in person - photos don't capture it. Small group, great guide, beautiful park.

The difference between this and a standard Angthong tour comes down to one thing: time and space. With a small group you have time at each stop and you don't feel the pressure of 40 other people waiting to get on the kayak. The guide was knowledgeable and relaxed. The emerald lagoon was stunning - that green colour surrounded by limestone cliffs is one of the most striking natural sights I've seen. The gypsy village lunch was an experience in itself, a real window into a way of life you don't often see as a tourist.

We'd been to Angthong on a big boat tour years ago and this was a completely different experience. The small group let us access beaches and spots that the larger tours couldn't stop at. Worth the extra cost without any question.

Booked this as a treat after several days of cheaper tours and it was worth it. The guide was excellent - knowledgeable, funny and clearly passionate about the park. The snorkeling at Koh Wao was the best I did on the whole trip. Being just 16 people meant everything felt more personal and less chaotic.
