Pickup window06:30–07:30Meet your driver at your hotel reception or villa at the time confirmed for your area. An air-conditioned minivan will take you to the departure pier in northern Koh Samui.
Meet the crew, check in and listen to a short safety briefing before boarding. A light breakfast of bakery snacks is served with coffee and tea at the pier.
Depart for Ang Thong aboard the speed catamaran. Enjoy the Gulf of Thailand views as the boat approaches the park’s limestone islands. The twin-hull design provides a spacious ride and handles the crossing differently from a conventional speedboat.
Start the day in the water at Koh Wao. Use the provided mask and snorkel to look for reef fish around the island, or enjoy a refreshing swim before continuing deeper into the marine park.
Land at Koh Mae Ko and climb the steps to the viewpoint above the Emerald Lagoon. From the platform, you can see the green saltwater lake enclosed by high limestone walls.
Take to the water for a guided paddle beside limestone cliffs and into sheltered coves. The kayaking equipment and life jackets are provided.
Pause for a Thai buffet lunch served by the beach. Take your time over the meal before the afternoon island stop.
Spend the afternoon your way at Koh Wua Talap. Relax on the sand, swim in the bay, or tackle the hillside trail for a wider view across the islands.
Board the catamaran for the return crossing to Koh Samui. The journey usually takes about one hour, although timing can vary with sea conditions.
Meet the waiting minivan after arriving back at the pier. You will then be driven to your hotel or villa to finish the day.

Eight to nine hours door to door. Hotel pickup, briefing and a light breakfast at the pier, then you're off. The catamaran threads through the island group to the lagoon viewpoint and the Wua Talap stop, with swimming, snorkelling and a kayak session worked in, and a buffet lunch on board. You notice the flat ride most on a choppy day, which is precisely when it justifies the extra over a standard speedboat. Stop order still bends to wind, sea and park instructions.

For lunch during the Angthong Marine Park tour you can expect a delicious Thai-style buffet. You’ll have several (halal) choices like a curry, Pad Thai, stir fried, chicken & eggs and a dessert. The food is halal. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour.
The breakfast isn’t too extensive, it’s smart to have a decent breakfast at your hotel or villa prior to the pickup. On the pier you’ll find coffee, tea and water and a small selection of bread snacks to get your day started.
The best time to visit Angthong Marine Park is just after the rainy season between February and March. The temperatures are pleasant: blue skies and calm waters (apart from a rare weather disruption). The months of April and May are sunny and hot, while the summer is a bit cooler. Our Angthong Marine Park tour is not possible during most of the rainy season, between 1 November and 15 December as the park is closed during that time.
The viewpoint of Angthong Marine Park can be reached after a quite intensive climb up. The road up can be challenging to small children and elderly persons. Please make sure to wear sensible footwear and hold on the available tight ropes at all times. The climb up takes about 15 minutes and is totally worth it: the views from the top are stunning!
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
To keep the ride safe, this tour is not suitable for back problems, heart conditions or pregnant women. If that could apply to anyone in your group, contact us before booking and we will help you find a better fit.
